It is not a database with filters. You describe your thesis in plain language and the AI structures the search, validates financials, maps ownership and generates proprietary scoring. SABI and similar tools are accounts repositories. Closedata uses these sources but adds the intelligence layer: natural language, deal scoring, succession signals, off-radar opportunity detection and a built-in deal workflow.

Financials come from official registries and filed accounts (Informa D&B, Iberian commercial registries), refreshed every day. We cross-check each company against multiple sources to validate EBITDA, revenue and balance sheet, and always show the source and date of every data point.

We cross four layers: financial (EBITDA, revenue, ratios, history), structure (cap table, concentration, cross-holdings), people (shareholder age, team, succession) and signals (news, web, governance, ownership changes, sector trends).

The Deal Score is our proprietary 0 to 100 score that ranks every company by attractiveness as an M&A target. It combines financial strength, succession risk, recent ownership changes, growth signals and sector fit. Each component's weight can be tuned to your thesis.
